"The Hawaiian Hurricane" is perhaps one of the most "looked up to" wrestlers, on the North East Independent scene. Every promoter knows that when you book King Kaluha, you get a PPV quality match. He works a lot in PA, as he loves Shoe fly Pie, and has personally trained many great names like Tom Brandi and Steve Corino. Being a ring veteran , of over 15 years, Kaluha is truly a force to be reckoned with. If you are not familiar with him, but think that his name is familiar, he is in practically every PWI 500 list, and is also mentioned in Mick Foley's #1 best seller, "Have A Nice Day" as Cactus Jack, has tagged up with him in the past, sporting an islander kind of motif.
King Kaluha was the first wrestler to ever sign with The Prince of Passion, back in his early days with the USWF (United States Welfare Federation.) Many believe that this is why Kenny grew to become such an Overachiever-Under The Beaver-Daydream Believer all over the place -with the chicks that is. (Kaluha's entrance music is "Brick House" or "We Want The Funk" and Kenny is a masterful dancer of every style.)
